- ( 500 grams) Raw lean lamb meat, diced. If not lean, remove excess fat
- ( 2 tbsp) Olive oil
- ( 1 tsp) Cumin powder
- ( 1/2 tsp) Chilli powder
- ( 1 medium) Brown onion, raw and peeled
- ( 2 medium) Tomato
- ( 2 bunch) Fresh parsley
- ( 1 bunch) Fresh mint
- ( 3 regular) Bread, flat (pita or Lebanese), wholemeal, commercial
- ( 1 long) Raw green chilli
- ( 1/2 tsp) Ground black pepper

Ingredients
- ( 500 grams) Raw lean lamb meat, diced. If not lean, remove excess fat
- ( 2 tbsp) Olive oil
- ( 1 tsp) Cumin powder
- ( 1/2 tsp) Chilli powder
- ( 1 medium) Brown onion, raw and peeled
- ( 2 medium) Tomato
- ( 2 bunch) Fresh parsley
- ( 1 bunch) Fresh mint
- ( 3 regular) Bread, flat (pita or Lebanese), wholemeal, commercial
- ( 1 long) Raw green chilli
- ( 1/2 tsp) Ground black pepper
Method
- Season the lamb with cumin, chilli flakes, and pepper.
- Add the oil to a pan. Add the lamb, and fry until the lamb is brown on all sides — a minimum of five (5) minutes.
- Slice the onion and green chilli into thin pieces. Cut the tomato into small cubes. Chop the parsley and mint. Mix all of these ingredients in a bowl.
- To serve, place the salad and lamb in the pita bread and roll into a wrap.
